The flight was rescheduled 30 hours later and still left Narita an hour late. Which left us only 45 minutes to get our connection to Guadalajara. After the ground staff said that it would be okay, we got to the next gate 12 minutes late and the plane was gone. We our now booked to fly out of Mexico city tomorrow morning at 7am.
